Teamspeak Talk Policies

~ Introduction ~

Welcome to Team Phalanx Gaming Teamspeak!  We here at :{PX}: refer Teamspeak as "Sparta", but many of us just call it "Home". First and foremost, this group is to be considered a hobby and not a "reason to live" or a "job".  What you say in here can result in either a positive or negative result.  We are all human and this is honestly no different then a group of people getting together after work/school to blow off some steam.  This is a hobby, period. The Founders main goal and still it's main goal today is to simply make friends.  We (Founders) hope you (Members) do the same.  We cannot survive without everyone at least liking and sharing a similar quality between everyone. Lastly like a broken vinyl record, this is a hobby not a life.  The main purpose of Team Phalanx Gaming is to make friends and connections.

The main job for the management here at Team Phalanx Gaming is to protect the group from foreign and domestic toxicities. Players and Members that become toxic and or cancerous will be removed with or without notice.  We have a "Mama Bear" approach to our family eliminating all threats with no prejudice.  We understand that some need to "vent" and that is what brothers are for, right?  "Vent" all you want, but not in a toxic way and not in a disruptive way, i.e. don't "vent" while gaming.  Below are some topics to beware and high probability to become toxic.  Here in Sparta we don't care about what you think or believe.

Points: You have 22 points until your removal off of the roster. On your 21st point you will be given your final warning. Points will hold standing for three (3) months. You need 22 points in a 3 month period to be removed from the roster.  You will be notified of your points upon request.

~ Untolerated Topics & Actions ~

Religion: Only talk about it if you feel the need to risk pissing people off and possibly getting removed from this positive group.  It is wise to have a mediator to keep the debate, not an argument, a fair and honest debate.  If a argument and flaming begins all parties involved will be under review for dismissal, even if the member has recently donated money.  Point Penalty = 6

Politics:  Only talk about it if you feel the need to risk pissing people off and possibly getting removed from this positive group.  It is wise to have a mediator to keep the debate, not an argument, a fair and honest debate.  If a argument and flaming begins all parties involved will be under review for dismissal, even if the member has recently donated money.  Point Penalty = 1

Trolling:  You are a Lacedaemonian (Spartan Warrior), troll all you want- TO YOUR ENEMY, not to your brother.  Lift your brother up because you are his Keeper.  The Founders have no tolerance for such juvenile actions. Remember, your actions dictate whether your stay.  Point Penalty = 8

Trash Talk:  You are a Lacedaemonian, trash talk all you want- TO YOUR ENEMY, not to your brother.  Lift up your brother because you are his Keeper. Do not disrespect any Admin in any avenue or arena.  This will affect our image.  It is best to keep your mouth shut.  Point Penalty = 10

Disrespect:  This directly affects our image and will cause you to be up for review for removal.  The Founders have no tolerance for disrespect.  If you are found that the crime was extreme enough and an apology was not given you will be removed from the group even if you have recently donated. There will be a 24 hour ban form TS for any disrespect. Point Penalty = 5  Second offense will be a 72 hour  ban. Point Penalty = 7  A third offense will be your last.  Point Penalty = 10

Hacking:  Our definition of hacking is: Using a third party program to play the game to your favor.  Hacking is not allowed within this Guild.  If you are found with proof from any source you will be put on suspension until that proof is authenticated. Point Penalty = 2.   Once authenticated you will be notified of your removal. Point Penalty = 20.  If you are banned without proof you will not be penalized any points. However, if proof surfaces (Point Penalty = 2) on that instance within three (3) months you will be under suspension until authenticated. Point Penalty = 20.

~ Rewards & Awards ~

Donations:  A donation is a gift given by physical or legal persons, typically for charitable purposes and/or to benefit a cause. A donation may take various forms such as time-put-in, scouting people for membership, and money.  You will receive credits for your donations in return as appreciation.  Credits can be spent on admin rights to free gear, like T-shirts and such. Regardless of your role in the Guild and how serious it may be this is hobby treat it as such. Point Award = .5 point per dollar

Recruiting:  Recruiting takes time and patience.  You will fail, but with persistence comes perfection. Do not be afraid of asking for help on tips and ways to recruit. Keep in mind that the new recruit is partially your responsibility.  Yes we are a "invite only" Guild, but we can't have new blood if you don't make new friends. Quality of conduct trumps quality of skill.  If your recruit logs forty (40) hours played with us while being a member you will receive Point Award = 10 point per dollar

Training Aid:  Helping out with a training exercise is immensely beneficial to both the guild and the member in training. Point Award = 10 point per dollar

RoP Aid:  Helping out with a training exercise is immensely beneficial to both the guild and the member in training. Point Award = 10 point per dollar
